Another vindictive post from June McLoud, if you check all of her posts none have been of any use whatsoever to this message board.

The Harbour Club IS under new management and is doing very well, in spite of the fact it's very quiet in the area at the moment, so don't knock it if you haven't tried it

  • It would appear then that Mr McLoud is an authority on Mrs Mcloud.viz mutton and lamb.
Good luck to the two girls at the Harbour Club. There have been some very encouraging reports on the quality and value of their food.

  • From Edwards last comment I take it, it?s the wine bar and not the  harbour club that is under new management  can anyone confirm

  • For the sake of clarity can Dolly D change the thread title to The Wine Bar at the Harbour Club.

Or, merge it with an existing thread on The Wine Bar.

  • Whilst we have been there several times to hear JoJo Middleton who made our night fabulous, we were very disappointed with the food.  We went to Valentine's Night and the beef dish four of us ordered was far from good, and we also went to another themed night - 60's maybe can't remember - and again the food was not what we expected for what we paid.  One of our party politely advised owner that we thought it was overpriced and was told eveyone else loved it, so we realise that we are in the minority but definitely won't be going there again.

  • Hello Angie, I tink that we need to be careful here. The new owners of the Harbour Club Restaurant were not, repeat not, there when you visited. I think that if you give them another try when you come over you will be pleasantly surprised.

  • Sorry Edward, do you mean Sally and her partner ?  They were the owners when I visited with friends.

  • Oh thank you Edward and sorry to have got the wrong place, that's not good so I must reiterate to anyone reading my posting that I'm on about Tipsy Terrace not the Harbour Club wine bar.  Thank you for correcting me.
