Terrific Tipsy Terrace

  • We have just returned from our ninth trip to Los Gigs (hotel). Our first holiday, in 2000, was excellent. Obviously everything was new to us and this made the two week holiday really enjoyable, even then though, the entertainment in the hotel wasn't great. Over the years, and particularly this year, things have gone downhill in the hotel. Therefore what an absolute delight it was to discover Tipsy Terrace. We arrived on the Halloween weekend and I could not believe the amount of effort and attention to detail that had been put in by the owners, and staff, to attract and entertain customers. We were astounded to have the opportunity to listen to someone of the calibre of Jeff Leyton. Even although we had just strolled in for a few drinks we were warmly welcomed and escorted to a table.
On our next trip to Los Gigs I intend to rent an apartment so that I can take advantage of the excellent food that is on offer. If I remember correctly, they can even arrange an apartment for you??..fantastic!!

(p.s. I notice Jeff is on at TT on 30th Nov. so I hope the Edinburgh Boy will be doing something special for St. Andrews day)
