  • Fred and Glynis would like to thank everyone who came on Saturday to the celebration of the second anniversary of Tajinaste. Thanks also to Cookie for preparing the buffet, Paul, Kevin and Colin for the superb entertainment and to Chrissie for the wonderful surprise Anniversary cake beautifully made by Lizzie.
For anyone who was unable to make it we look forward to seeing you in the near future.
To all the people who have contacted us Tajinaste is NOT closing and Fred is looking forward to another year of bills lol. :D  Unfortunately someone has put a rumour around the village that the restaurant is closing we are happy to inform all our customers that Tajinaste is not closing and will continue to welcome all to enjoy our food and entertainment opening from 3.00pm till late come and enjoy some tapas and a drink while watching the sunset from our terrace.

    Tajinaste Keeping Music Live.

  • Absolutely Glynis, it is a great venue and we all had a fabulous night. Rumour mongers beware. Tajinaste is KEEPING MUSIC LIVE and well and truly alive. If you arnt patronising it you are missing out on a great venue with good food and amazing entertainment. However, amazing comments from holiday makers who have shelled out 3.50 euros for a taxis there and back and have saifd they have had the best night of their holiday. Tajinaste's live rock band played in the plaza tonight as a one off and they were amazing. You can see them regularly every fortnight at Tajinaste. Hey guys help keep music ALIVE: Other amazing singers and acts can be enjoyed at Tajinaste. Espcecially on Friday and Sunday nights.

A belated happy birthday to the Tajinaste (we were on the mainland at the time) and I have to 100% agree with the above post.  One of their LIVE bands Traveller have just released their first CD a superb recording made while they were playing in the Plaza and their single has been released world wide on iTunes - not many on the island can say that they have done it, or like Fred and Glynis had the foresight to choose such talent in their very early days.  Well done to all of you.
