  • I have had several emails asking when the Sports centre will re open.  So here is the  update ? it?s looking good.  The terrace is now finished and open for drinks and lunches.  Final touches are being done to the bar today.

The restaurant still needs another couple of weeks work before it can open.  We will be there with the camera on the day.

  • Swimming pool has stayed open while refurb was going on.  Terrace bar is open for lunches.  Restaurant is almost finished.  It will be announced here when it fully opens.

  • The new restuarant Tipsy Terrace was open today for Sunday lunch, it will be open for the next 2 weeks during the day only and then it will be opening for evening meals, as soon as it opens for evening meals I will try it and report back.

  • Marco looks very smart in his new red shirt. Compared to the old blue one he use to wear day in, day out,

See you soon  keep up the good work

  • Went to Typsy Terrace the other night loveley meal, lovely surroundings, loveley people. Trouble is we went a little late and the lighting is not finished yet. Really nice though, shame we had to use a hurricane lamp on the table instead of the romantic candle as it was too breezy! I am sure Typsys is going to become a favourite.  :)

  • Is the evening menu the same 'theme'  as the Wine Bar or similar - as I noticed they were doing a fish and chip night (same as the wine bar) and Sunday Roast (same as the wine bar). Maybe Borris and Dorris can visit.

  •  :)What a delight I have been coming to Los Gigantes for over 20 years and have just spent 10 glorious days being wined and dined at the new Tipsys, which has a fabulous restaurant, wonderful team and great food.  We spent our days lounging by the pool on the sun terrace we could not wish for a better way to spend our days.  You must try the delicious wraps for lunch, to die for!
We also enjoyed the Fridays Fish and Chips Night although full menu available, as well as a home from home Sunday Lunch.
The ambiance is great and Tipsys motto is "Where friends meet friends" and we certainly met loads of new friends there!    Well worth a visit
I believe that the restaurant is opening from Friday every evening.

We can not wait to come back - A huge thank you to the Tipsy Team :D

  • The menu at Tipsys is great, allsorts available for lunches and Sunday Lunch
I think it is more innovative than the Wine Bar plus you do not get the Tipsy Team there
Tipsys get my vote every time

They open Friday this week - enjoy

  • I would like to congratulate the chiccas of the Sports Centre or Tipsy Terrace or whatever in creating the most interest on this site in the last few months, We can all honestly say that they've left the rest of the 'new bars and restaurants' in the shade...WELL DONE! A bit of controversey gets you everywhere

  • My family and I have recently returned from a fab Holiday in LG. We have been regular visitors to this jewel of a village for many years and since the arrival of our little ones have enjoyed the facilities of the sports centre. It was to my great surprise that on this trip we found that the sports centre had undergone a fantastic face lift (and is now under new management?) Previously we had used the sports centres safe environment as a haven to allow our kids to let off some of their excess energy - Bouncy castle etc, but this time seemed different. The children were made so welcome by the staff that they seemed happy to sit and enjoy family meals - a real bonus to us in these days where family values seem to be slipping
We would recommend "Tipsys" to any one who is looking for something that offers that little bit extra and a wonderfully warm welcome - keep up the good work!!
