The Eating Out and Entertainment forum provides ready made answers to your general question. If you want a more specific answer, then perhaps you need to ask a more specific question giving us some information about the sort of food, restaurants and bars you like.  Sebastian has high standards and is very knowledgeable about such matters.

    el meson  for meat
    panchos ,bar jessis for fish
    juan llamas ,salsbourg for good value varied foood
    bar rios for tapas and arepas.
    bar dorta tapas
    harbour lites mexican
    these are between los gigantes and playa dela arena
    hope this helps though everyone has different tastes

  • Well I would say mexican food in playa de la arena is good, the tai restaurant there is also good too, not sure with chinise food, I avoid it myself. fettuchinnes for steak pizzas etc, the chicken shack in santiago, the friendly dolphin on the marina for breakfast and tapas, the oasis at the back of los gig hotel, the wine bar, los gig, also little italy is good if you like pasta, pizzas etc.

  • i agree with all those + juan carlos in los gigantes, barco del nino and el timon in puerto santiago, las brasas in santiago and fishermans inn is good too overlooking the harbour in santiago...
