  • Hope I got it spelled right.
A restaurant in Playa San Juan,we ate there twice during our
    last visit in 05'.
Exspensive but we thought the food and service was excellent.
    Anyone been there lately?

  • You know what it is Seb occasionally some of the locals like to get on their turbo charged donkeys and visit far off places they then know that the world is round and you don't fall off the edge when you get to Playa de la Arena Lol ;D ;) ;)

  • Please don't tell seb that the world is not flat !

He does not seem too happy with the idea that residents and grockles alike do like to wander beyond the city limits for food and entertainment.

Perhaps we need a whip round to buy seb a new burro ?

  • To me an ideal holiday is to spend some time in Los Gigantes but spend a lot of time travelling round the Island.  It's lovely to travel up the mountain a bit, or down the coast to find different places to eat.  Had some very nice Canarian meals, excellent value for money when you get out of the tourist areas.

  • Dorris . Have you discovered the Bodega Frontos. A vineyard with an amazing restaurant. It is situated a short way from Granadillo but Im sorry I cant remember the exact road its on. I feel we went almost through Granadillo and then took a road to the right for about 2 kilometers . I only know it was really worth it when we did get there. Very smart Spanish restaurant. Not over priced but not cheap. Their own wine is excellent especially the red and we had Black Iberian Pork Chops. Absolutely superb. Cant wait to visit again. They do have their own site on the internet which may give more details :) :)
