Sorry, not been on this website for a while!
Well Los Tarajales is open and it's owned by Carmello and Sandra who live in the village. Carmello speaks very good English, and the chef (I can't remember his name just off-hand!) speaks a little English too.
It's very nice food. Much stuff that was available with the previous owners on certain nights now require you to give 24 hours notice (e.g. rabbit, paella and I think Chataubriand), but the "basic" stuff, such as steak/chicken breast with sauce, liver and onions are freely available and very reasonably-priced. There is still fish available, but it is of a more limited variety.
The 3 meals we have eaten there since the restaurant opened were very nicely cooked and well-presented. Carmello runs the bar and does the waitering (so when it gets busy, you'll have to excuse him, although Sandra does help out from time-to-time!)
Overall it is still a great place to go.
