Looking forward to LG

  • Be out this weekend and already can taste the food especially Fishermans Inn. In my book Charlotte is the best chef in the area! Baked Hake, Fishermans Pie, Turbot with braised Oxtail mmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!! Also rate El Timon ( see you soon George!), Bei Uwe for Austrian and San Francisco for good food at a good price. Enjoyed the food at Jardin De Sol(?) - will try it again with the hope we don't have to spend another 20 minutes of hard work getting the Italian waiter to smile. We thought Mirandas and Asturias had improved after seemingly losing it a little over the last couple of years. Harbour Lite always consistent.
New ones on the list this time Tipsy Terrace ( was being rebuilt in May ) and the Wine Bar- do I have to wear a pale blue shirt? Ah well, at least it will match my eyes! Her Ladyship says I should wear a red shirt in the mornings!!!!!! Will pop into the Bar Amazon and might even try the BBQ.
Also looking forward to the usual great welcome from John and Tracey at CK's - not to mention the crispy bacon roll. Sausage baguette or Scottish Breakfast for HL, well she is from Edinburgh.
Eischocolades at the Austrian bar on the marina, croissants from Conchita's in the square the list goes on and on. You can see why we always put on weight when on holiday- but it's worth every lb to be in LG.

  • What a fantastic write up. We have got to wait 6 weeks and 5 days before we get out there again, but you have just brought it all to life.
