  • Wow Wow Wow, I run the Fit Friends  club in Los Gigantes and every year we have our celebratory Christmas Lunch. This year I got several quotes and times and the best suited was Incognito. A bit of a risk as they were a bit in the dark about what a traditional Christmas Lunch consisted of. Had a couple of chats with them and OH what a wonderful afternoon we had. The food was second to none. Starters of shrimp cocktail or soup, Main course was turkey stuffed with spinach with sage and onion on the side. brussel sprouts etc. Monk fish was also available and When it came to the Christmas Pud, well, they had got someone in to show them how to make it themselves and everyone agreed it was the best Christmas pudding ever. They also made their own mince pies which were super.
The staff were wonderful and so very very helpful, nothing was too much trouble and the price was good too.
Thanks go to all at Incognito for making this a Christmas Lunch to remember. What a great restaurant.

  • Incognito is a resturant opposite the beach in Playa de la Arena and yes it used to be called Saltzburg. Fit Friends is a club started by Sally of Tipsy Terrace 6 or so years ago. When Sally and Sarah took on the restaurant Tipsy Terrace, Sally asked me if I would continue to come and run our little club. Basically we are all about healthy eating and we get weighed each week, not necessarily to loose weight but also to maintain it. We have members male and female and some come all year round and others to watch their weight whilst they are all here for several months or so. As all you regulars know eating out and drinking more than one would back in the UK can affect our weight. Also it is a good chance to meet with friends, have coffee and catch up. Tipsy Terrace is the place where Friends meet Friends, so in a way, hence the name Fit Friends. We like to vary our venues for our celebratory lunches and dinners paid for out of club funds for members,(however partners, husbands and guests can attend and pay per head) as we had not been to Incognito before hence one of the reasons for choosing INcognito this year, something different and by golly they did us proud. There are many lovely restaurants (especially our home, Tipsy Terrace) and venues in and around Los Gigantes, so watch out Fit Friends may be about next time we have a celebration. Fit Friends meet every Tuesday morning from 10am at Tipsy Terrace and it lasts for an hour or so each week. Call Chrissie on 922861012 or 666513969 if you want any other info.
