  • We went there in September with friends (6 of us).

We had high expectations and were looking forward to live music and a good laugh.  Unfortunately what we experienced was quite different.  They sang very depressing songs all night and by the end of the night we felt like cutting our throats!  Don't go there if you are feeling a bit depressed.

I will say it was nice to see the unit refurbished to a high standard and with air conditioning.

  • Possibly blaggers you do not appreciate Irish music. Very pleasant young Irish couple one on guitar and the lady on the whistle.
Not very big however quite cosy.

We very much appreciate Irish music which was the very reason we went there in the first place.  We have visited Irish bars on many occasions and have always ended up having a "cracking" night but not on this occasion which is why I sent my post.  We were not the only ones in the bar to comment so perhaps they were having a bad night or perhaps someone had died!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I have found them on facebook.  There are positive comments on there about them.  Hopefully they are a bit lively when we come over.
