  • Havent been to Los Gig since the Friendly Dolphin changed hands and there doesnt seem to have been a mention of it on the forum since unless I missed it .We really liked it there. The food was great and Chris and Alan very friendly. What is it like now?

  • I am happy to report that the Friendly Dolphin is just as good as it was.

Gemma and Mark have made a few changes and overall the standard is just as high as it was. 8)

  • Oh Sebastian,

I have always considered you the low life of this forum with your unhelpful comments but you have sunk to even lower levels with your response to my posting on this subject.

It is obvious that you are an undeducated being, your spelling lets you down so badly.
Why don't you leave this website alone for a while. I can guarantee that you will not be missed.

If you have nothing useful to say I suggest that you leave the board to those who have. If you consider that you have ever had something constructive to say please respond asap but I won't hold my breath.

There that has got that off my chest, I will not rest until Sebastian is gone for good.

  •  Poolepirate  (take it your from deepest darkest Dorset) If you are going to Slag off poor old Seb then one should check your own spelling  UNDEDUCATED ????
I am new here but have read most things Seb has written and although somewhat contraversial I take a differing view from oneself and I think he/she
makes it quite good reading. Sorry to say but having looked at your posts you can be quite the shitstirrer yourself.

  • Then why don't you fight your own battles Seb. Why do you have to hunt like a pack with your virtual friends.

  • More decorum please chaps ! What's all this malarky got to do with friendly dolphins ?

Each and every post becomes a five minute argument ! (or the full half hour)

Spelling ? We all try to do our best but the occasional keystroke digit misplacement malfunction affects us all. Mostly when one is responding in a bit of a temper !

We all keep coming back don't we ? - despite our moans and groans.

  • At the end of the day, and I feel I have right to comment here (as I am their next door neighbour in the marina)  Mark and Gemma, great people doing a good job - but just like everyone else in Los Gigantes, they are probably finding it hard!(understatement of the year) they have a nice looking bar, offering good food, and the place has a good rep. however.... as an addition, I'b4ve just spent an evening in Las Americas, everywhere  packed out. This recession now is ONLY in Los Gigantes, something has to be done... but what? I ask you....?!?!  oh and p.s gem, (if you'b4re reading this) i'b4ll push you in when you least expect it, ha ha ha ha

  • well, lets all think about this one.  what is the main difference between los gigantes and las americas?

i would suggest busier nightlife, modern, trendy bars and restaurants, up to date music in bars (including live), many more hotels and apartments (but more are being built around here), i think the key is better entertainment in the evenings to attract a younger crowd!

last time i came over to los gigs i too ended up going over to adeje for 3 nights!

i am in my 40's and i find the live music around los gigs bloody awful so imagine how people in their 30's, 20's and teens must feel!  i know some people like it but surely there is room for newer and younger acts in the area, i feel i have old dogs, baz knight etc shoved down our throats constantly. >:( >:(
