  • I was told by the Head Waitress 18 months ago that they had ordered the printing of completely new menus, hence 5 items on the "old" menu were unavailable, leaving us with a fairly limited choice.  The new menu never transpired, but hopefully everything advertised is available!  I agree, a new menu is long overdue.

I think this was only only over a few weeks when they were trying to decide what to do.  Clearly, they chose to stick with what worked, but I think a change is overdue.  Maybe some "specials" in addition to the standard menu would work.  I certainly didn't mean to knock Juan Carlos - it's still the best restauarant in the area, by far.

  • Went in a couple of nights ago, had their full menu, starved all day before, to prepare!
Had a wonderful meal, seven courses. every mouthful DELICIOUS. could?nt do it every week though, but for the special occasion.
Fully booked, turned away quite a few customers, as only inside tables at the moment, various specials on offer, additional to the menu.
A very enjoyable evening. Thankyou Juan Carlos, soon to be a Daddy!

I can't fault this reataurant but as for being the best in the area ..........errrrm ...for the more adventurous, who enjoy a drink as well and are willing to spend upweards of 80 euros a couple then try Nova Bleue at the top of the village beneath Colonial Parque, or if you fancy a taxi ride go to El Bolero in Piedra Hincada, both excellent food with good service.

  • Called in twice on our last visit I must say that the new wine waiter is a pain in the bum, every other minute he would top up the wine or water class, felt like telling him to bugger off but kept on getting kicked under the table by the mrs. the food made up for it
