  • We have not been back to 'LG' this year but plan to return in 2011. Can anyone please advise if CK's is still offering the same value/good food as when it was run by John & Tracy? Also any new places to eat out with recommendations. Thanks

Is CK's not run by John and Tracy anymore then? When did it change?

  • Must mention ... in case other veggies are reading this ... CK's (very wide-ranging) menu has a whole page of vegetarian dishes - we had a meal there while we were out recently - lovely food, enormous helpings, efficient friendly service - definitely on the list for our next visit.

  • Hi All,
Many thanks for all the info on CKs. Glad to know that it is doing OK under new chef/management. Look forward to trying it when we next come to LG. Does anyone know if Clive's place ( in the alley next to the chemist- Misinguettes ( not sure of the spelling!!)) is still going- any reports as to food?

  • Half term holidays are staggered depending on which part of the country they are in.  There are people here now with children on half term.
