  • HI Wicksy,

I would imagine you hope to hire a car at the airport on arrival and return there, because the cost of car hire is soon gained back when high airport taxi charges are considered Having hired cars in Tenerife for the last 10 years , from various companies , I have found the best firm for new cars and free upgrades is Record. However do not go off their web prices because if you book with Holiday Autos ( they use Record in Tenerife ) then you will finish up with a Record car much cheaper than the Record web price.
A big gain also with Record on arrival is that they have their own parking area at the airport , unlike such as Niza Cars who use the public part of the car park.I think anyone who hires from Niza should charge them for advertising because of the large stickers on their cars showing " hired from Niza ".

  • If you want the car for 7 days or even just a day or two you can also look at Oasis, they have offices all over including Los Gigantes!!!

  • I have used a few different firms over the years but Autoreisen  have been excellent value, prices starting for less than 'a370 for a week and the car was new, in fact they upgraded us free.  They were quite efficient with no messing round at the airport on return, leaving the same amount of petrol as when picked up and dropping the keys off at the desk.

Or try unpaid advertising link removed  Same deal as Holiday Autos (i.e. it's a Record supplied car) but even cheaper.  I've been using them for the past 4 years without problems.
