  • I know, yes I know, it is very late but I am still buzzing from an amazing night at Tajinaste restaurant celebrating the birth of Robbie Burns. The tables looked great, the food was superb and the speeches, well hillarious. Superb entertainment by Patti Pope and followed by the one and only DJ Mr. Fred Dudman.
The place was packed, a sell out and 50 plus people all up dancing the night away. Who could ask for anything more. Plenty of whiskey was drunk too, Frank Pope addressed the HAGGis aided by Cookie (who had produced some wonderful food) Roy gave the speech to the Lassie's and Glynis responded to the Laddies, what a night. Coach hire was a must and 20 of the attending guests chose to go on the coach and that was so much fun. Many thanks go to the staff at Tajinaste and to Frank for organising the coach for our guests. I am exhausted and should go to bed but hey this really was a night to remember. Thanks to Mr Paul Marley and his team who are doing a wonderful job to get this venue back to the top. Roll on Sunday for the rock band and a great Sunday roast.
