A little bird tells me that if you learn to play the guitar and sing (not necessarily well) you can get free beer in Rincon de Felix  :o :o

Look around for happy hours, Richardsons mon to fri 3pm to 7pm. Bamboo Bar every day. Green Corner special prices all day and night 2 a pint 7 days a week. Paddys 2 a pint till 10pm.
Although not on the menu, you can get half a litre of wine for 3 in Asturias.

  • Only 1 euro a pint in the "Original Little Italy" in Los Christianos (but a long way to go).  But at the other end of the scale try the cafe next to the Cactus Park in Las Americas - 3.25 euros for a small half pint!!!  Can anyone beat that for a rip-off?

  • The cheapest we have found is Bar Plaza, Calle Vigilia. Its opposite the small plaza / children's play area. Very Spanish, very noisy, very friendly and unbelievably cheap!
