  • Many years ago, there was a board member called Henrik from Sweden. I guess he must be the same man. I know Ghod is a fanatical football supporter and he once challenged me to a game of tennis. I also think he may have  something to do with a parrot show.  So, look out for a Swede, wearing a green striped football shirt, carrying a tennis racket with parrot stains on his shoulder. Hope this helps.

  • Thank you GHOD and Alex for saying im missed at Las Rosas, nice of you to say so. Things where very bad for me there in the last year, caused by a political situation between the management company and some owners, it doesnt do to be more popular than manager, that was my problem. Im a conciencious worker, and that was proved by my popularity. However Ive signed myself out of the complex for 3 years, so two years left to go.

    We will see !!!

  • What a great picture Dolly Diver thanks. Hubby and I were over and experienced those monsterous waves - glad we had our video camera with us.

By the way any news on who has bought 'Churchills' yet?  I know it was a quick sale and Carl is up and running with his new place (Fish & More).

  • Hi Janey - Fish & More should be in place of Las Brassas near Fettuccini and Chicken Shack.

  • I can confirm the sale of Churchills has fallen through, a few days prior to signing the chap who was buying it had a heart attack. Seemingly he is ok, but has, due to this decided to return to the uk. Carl had interest in Fish and More, however, this was not meant to be.  Other things are happening.... watch this space!

  • I have just seen an artist's impression on another website  of how the Marina could be improved to include subterranean parking for up to 500 cars , a bigger and enclosed beach and by also providing additional moorings for more boats .
The idea was conceived by the Harbour Master, Se'f1or Juan Dopido Gonzalez.
