  • Any breakfast recommendations in LG or PS? Not something I usually bother with but if we're off out for the day and we don't have dinner til late, it would be worth a quick fill up and we can have a snack for lunch.

  • The best English breakfast here in my opinion is Cafe Arena, opposite the beach in Playa Arena, Dave & Lynn are a very nicecouple and the food is always cooked fresh, very good value, enjoy.

  • I can recommend the Barcelo Santiago. We often go down there for breakfast. It is 6 euros and you can eat as much as you like, there's bacon, eggs, beans, cakes, cheeses, hams, all different types of bread, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cava sparkling wine, tea, coffee, loads of different cereals, and loads loads more. They have a fantastic terrace but get down there by half eight in the morning as it gets rather busy and manic but you can sit there and stuff yourself until your belly is completely full.

Hi Janey, wish I did have shares here without having to do the work, I also have tried all the others mentioned, with the exception of Barcelo Santiago and find they are all quite good, but I know my own preferences, at the end of the day it is my opinion, but you can always try them yourself, have a nice day!!

Good food, friendly staff, swift service and reasonable prices.

    You couldn't want better.

I think you've added 'the' by mistake, surely you meant is b*ll*cks. Have eaten there on occassion and never will again over priced and under cooked OCEAN DRIVE WILL WIN HANDS DOWN EVERY TIME.

I thought we were talking about breakfast not tables and chairs overlooking a mediocre swimming pool in a resort full of timeshare id--ts!!  The Chef wouldn't have a clue how to cook a good full english if it hit him in the face.  :o

Watch who you are calling idiots!  I'm one of those timeshare owners and am very happy to sit and watch the view.  I don't have breakfast there as when in Tenerife we tend not to want it so I can't comment on the quality.  I can however speak for the poolbar staff who do a sterling job especially over the lunch period.

Each to there own I suppose but it doesn't mean you can slag others off for eating there.

  • Hey Sebastian

You are well out of order.

I have been watching your posts for a long time without comment but you have truly crossed the line today.

It is time for you to come clean.

Where exactly is you pied-a-terre in Los G? Where are you now? I did not buy that Antigua rubbish. More Accrington than Antigua I think.

You seem to be so eager to respond in your usual tone that you have missed the fact that I was referring to Eggy's response and not yours!!

You are not the only one on this board with an opinion believe it or not.

Here, Here and apologies I was not insinuating that the timeshare holiday makers were idiots, merely the timeshare touts that are always hanging around whether it be a BBQ or welcome meeting!  I am an owner of a nice property in Crab Island and in answer to Sebastians jibe - I don't do Pine!!!
