  • Passed this a few times last week (albeit in a taxi) and it was closed - location has a lot to do with the place - hope it does survive. I've heard Mamma Lucias next door is also very good - has anyone been?? Also what is the name of the little 'shack'  type restuarant  all on it's own as you go up the hill towards Neuvo Bleu - I've never noticed it before.

  • Seems like a good place to eat, will be sure to try it when i'm out April/May. Unfortunately location plays a big part in a restaurants survival even when it's only a couple of euros by taxi. A case in point is Sissi's. If the rumours are true about a March closure, then a superb eaterie will have been beaten by a poor location.

Had a few meals in Mamm Luicia's, quite happy with those though the portions can beat those with small appetites. Havn't been since they started actively building (demolishing|wrecking|bodging) the block next door though.

If you mean the restaurant on the other side of the road to the zig-zag, its called La Masia and it used to be very good. View isn't much now that the monstrosity on Cardiac hill has been completed though.

  • Thanks for that - yes I think that is the place I mean - it's all by itself on the steep hill (well it's steep to me - wouldn't fancy walking to it).

  • What?  I'm maybe a very good client but I don't have any interest there.

  • The man who was cleaning for two weeks in Nova Bleue work as chef in an other restaurant. He told that he was the chef in Nova Bleue.
We was in Nova Bleus the last week and Matthieu ( Ex chef of la Estancia) is always there.

  • I believe it's an all smoking retaurant.  Is this going to change with all the new smoking regulations, or will Spanish restaurants still be able to choose if they are under 100 sq mtrs??
