A visit to the Plaza de la Pila is a must, with its old colonial mansions, especially the 19th century Casa de los Cáceres, now an arts centre used for a variety of exhibitions. Other places worth exploring include the San Francisco ex-convent and the Los Dolores chapel, the San Agustín ex-convent and the León Huerta square
