The winnners of the XI Travesia Playa La Arena - Puerto Santiago swimming race were;

Mens race 1st Number 3A-José Carlos Báez Gonzalez time15.36.44 representing the Nautico club 2nd Number 361 -Jose Guerrero Perez time 15.57.30 representing the Popular club and third number 497 Daniel Sanchez Diaz time 16.04.45 from the popular club.

Ladies Race 1st Number 4B Concepción Escatllart Fernandez. Misa time 16.48.19 representing the Nautico club, 2nd number 228 Carmen E Dominguez Escobar time 16.55.02 representing the Popular club and third Jessica Diaz Diaz time 17.16.47 representing TNTeide.

17.00 Beach football in the old harbour beach at Puerto Santiago between the "Married" and "Singles" teams followed by a foam party

21.30 starting from the parish church a procession with the statue of our lady of Candeleria accompanied by the municipal band the parish priest and various dignitaries to the old harbour where a religious ceremony including a sung hymn will be held before the start of the Grand Fireworks display. After the fireworks the procession will return to the parish church before the start of the Grand fiesta ball with dancing until the early hours to the sounds of “ Maquinaria Band ” and “ Arguayo Band”.

11.00 Procession to the Old Harbour where the statue of the virgin will be carried aboard a boat which will go in procession with other vessels to visit the Los Gigantes Marina, Alcala, Fonsalia and Playa San Juan harbours

21.00 Grand festival in honour of the fisherman with the singer Johan and the comedians Pancha and Servando( En Clave de Ja) and the star attraction the singer Pastora Soler followed by the Grand open air ball to the sounds of the "Tenerife" band
